Build Week Hackathon Vol. 2: Meet Our Winners
We're very happy to announce that Build Week Hackathon Vol. 2 has officially come to an end!
This time, we had 130+ participants, 50+ project submissions, and projects being built and deployed on-chain. It was great to see the hackathon grow from our first edition, with builders joining from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and beyond. A large part of our community was made up of students, which made it even more exciting to see what everyone could build in just one week.
We received so many interesting ideas and projects throughout the hackathon. From AI infrastructure and decentralized security to practical blockchain applications, the submissions showed a lot of creativity and effort. Choosing the winners was not easy, and we want to congratulate everyone who took the time to build, learn, experiment, and submit a project.
Without further ado, here are the winners of Build Week Hackathon Vol. 2!
1st Winner — SpendWise
SpendWise is an AI-powered expense tracker that scans shopping receipts and helps users keep track of their spending and stay within their budget. Users can also record a hash of their expense summary on BOT Chain, making it possible to verify that a shared summary has not been changed.
What we liked about SpendWise is how it connects a simple everyday problem with blockchain in a way that is easy to understand. Instead of using blockchain just for the sake of it, the team found a practical use for on-chain verification while keeping the main experience focused on personal finance.
2nd Winner — AgentEco
AgentEco is an economic infrastructure for AI agents that allows autonomous agents to discover services, negotiate tasks, transact securely, and execute work through on-chain escrow.
The project explores an interesting question: what happens when AI agents are able to work and transact with each other without needing a person to manage every step? By combining AI agents with blockchain-based escrow, AgentEco creates a foundation for more autonomous digital services and machine-to-machine transactions.
3rd Winner — OpenLC
OpenLC brings escrow to B2B orders on BOT Chain. The buyer's payment is locked before the goods are shipped and can then be released in milestones as dispatch and delivery are verified.
OpenLC focuses on a real-world business problem: making transactions between buyers and sellers more secure. Using on-chain escrow and milestone-based payments, the project aims to reduce trust issues between parties while creating a transparent record of the transaction.
Most Creative Project Award — SYLORA
SYLORA is a daily logbook for real-world climate action on BOT Chain. Users can choose an action such as tree planting, beach cleanup, e-waste recycling, or composting, then submit proof with a photo and description. A community verifier reviews the submission, and approved actions earn $SYL, a hard-capped utility token.
What makes SYLORA stand out is the way it turns offline actions into something that can be tracked and recognized on-chain. Every submission, vote, and reward is recorded on BOT Chain, creating a transparent history of community climate activity while giving users a reason to keep participating.
Congratulations to Everyone
A huge congratulations to our winning teams for their hard work and well-deserved recognition!
And to every participant who joined Build Week Hackathon Vol. 2, thank you. Whether you submitted your first blockchain project, built with BOT Chain for the first time, worked with a team, or pushed an existing idea further, you were part of what made this hackathon possible.
Building something in one week is not easy. We saw people learning new technologies, testing ideas, fixing bugs, and putting their projects together right up until the deadline. We hope this is only the beginning for many of the projects we saw during the hackathon.
What's Next? Weekly Challenge
The hackathon may be over, but we want to keep supporting and showcasing the projects that came out of Build Week.
- Period 5 October – 5 November
- Prize Pool $100
- Requirement Minimum 2 X posts per week
- Open to All Build Week Hackathon Vol.2 participants
You don't need to be a winner to join. If you participated in Build Week, you're eligible.
Keep building, share your progress, post updates, and let the community see where your project goes next.
Every project that came out of Build Week deserves to keep moving, so we will be watching, sharing, and cheering on whatever you build next. Thank you for spending a week of your time with us — and for showing us what a short deadline and an open mind can produce.
See you in the next Build Week!
