Community guidelines.
Last updated June 4, 2026
Girl Meets Tech is a space for everyone in tech to share, learn, and grow. To keep it welcoming and useful, here's what we ask when you contribute.
Share your own work
Only submit content you created, or that you have permission to share. If you reference someone else's work, give credit. Please don't post anything that infringes on someone's copyright or trademarks.
Keep it genuine and helpful
- Share real articles, products, side projects, and events, things you'd want a friend in tech to see.
- Be honest about what your product or event is. No misleading claims.
- No spam, repetitive posting, or purely promotional fluff.
Be respectful
Everyone is welcome here. We don't allow harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or anything that makes the community feel unsafe. Treat others the way you'd want to be treated.
Keep it safe and legal
- No malware, scams, illegal content, or anything harmful.
- No sharing of other people's private information.
- Keep content appropriate, this is a community for all.
How review works
Every submission is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We may edit lightly for clarity or formatting, and we may decline anything that doesn't fit these guidelines. If your post is published, it becomes part of the community for others to discover.
Removing content
You can ask us to take down something you submitted at any time. We may also remove content that breaks these guidelines.
